Does anyone know who were the Mississippi Sheiks? Surely everyone knows Their Songs!

In our Journey through the roots of the Blues we would like to talk about Mississippi Sheiks .
They were a popular and influential American guitar  and  fiddle group of the 1930s.Their first hit was "Sitting on Top of the World".  This song was covered by many Artists like Howlin' Wolf, Cream,Bob Dylan and Jeff Healey..

Another legendary recording was "Alberta Blues" that became famous for being included in "Unplugged" by Eric Clapton.
